I compiled a reader in 2001. This reader is like my course packet-- journal articles, extra notes, materials on how to write and do research, news clippings, and cartoons. It has its own Readings in Games and Information website.
Translations Japanese translation by Moriki Hosoe (Kyushu University), Shozo Murata, and Yoshinobu Arisada, Kyushu University Press, Vol. I (1990), Vol. 2 (1991). Italian translation ( Teoria dei Giochi e Informazione ) by Alberto Bernardo, Milan: Ulrico Hoepli Editore (1993), ISBN: 8820320231. Spanish translation ( Juegos e Informacion) by Roberto Mazzoni, Mexico City: Fondo de Cultura Economica (1997). Korean rights were sold to United Consulting Group Limited. Professor In-Koo Cho (Illinois) wrote a Korean preface for this translation, which, alas, seems stalled out. A translation in Chinese Simplified Characters by Yang Yao (CCER, Beijing University http://ccer.pku.edu.cn/en/eyyao.htm) is available from Liangjing Publishing. A translation in Chinese Complex Characters was published in 2003 by the Wu-Nan Book Company in Taipei (http://www.wunan.com.tw/). The 2004 French translation with Editions de Boeck & Larcier is by Professor Francis J. Bismans (U. Nancy 2). His preface is here.
