Dece. 2020 Musescore notes If you go to a note after you have put it in, you can change the length by typing q to halve it or w to double it. Shift-q takes off a dot (half length) Shift-w adds a dot. You can do this in N, note-inputting mode, just after you have put a note in. Type n to go into note input mode, and Escape to get out of it. While you are in it, you can't go back to previous notes and change them. If you are in note input mode, the N at the top left of the page will turn blue. If you are not in note input mode, you can go back to note and highlight them (they turn blue) and move them with the mouse. To DELETE a rest. I found I could rightclick a Rest and then "Remove Selected Range" to delete it. Note, you just select and hit the delete button. To tie a note to the following one, highlight the note, and click the TIE item on the menu at the second line from the top of the page. To change the tempo go into VIEW and pick PLAY PANEL and then tehre will be on the right a vertical slider for tempo for playback. To SELECT a bar, left click a blank space in it (not near any notes, etc.) and a blue box will show up. To select otehr bars , press SHIFT and the right-arrow. Measure numbers show up automatically. To put them on EVERY measure, go to FORMAT, pick STYLE, then BAR NUMBERS.
