                          DATA ASSIGNMENT

  For this assignment,   you will present some data using latex.
Include a titlepage, as on the latex assignment. You will use firm-level
data from Compustat. Each person will do a separate assignment with different
data, though you may  help each other.

  Look at my aphorisms on writing to see good formats for putting together
tables. I do not want to see computer printouts: put the data into formatted
latex tables.

 1. Choose  a measure of profitability, of size, and of output per
worker for 20 companies in  each of three industries.

2. In one table, show the mean, median, minimum, maximum and standard
deviation for your sample, by industry and in total.

3. In another table, show a correlation matrix for the three variables for all
60 companies.

4. Make a diagram plotting profitability against size. You may use Excel
for this, or STATA, or any other method.
