This is a fancy but poorly designed program, overseen by an idiot.
Maybe Microsoft is not along in its defective project leadership.



REDEYE
 THe automatic redeye removal is not all that good.

   1. To manually fix red eye, select the Red Eye Removal tool  in the
Full Edit toolbox or in the Touchup palette of Quick Fix.
   2. In the options bar [up near the top of the frame], set the Pupil
Size and Darken Amount. [Maybe make them each 1%; the defaults are
grossly
wrong. For another picture 30% for each was good. First, zoom in to
make the eyes big.  ]
   3. In the image, do one of the following:
          (a)  Click a red area of an eye.
          (b)   Draw a selection over the eye area.
            When you release the mouse button, the red is removed from
the eyes.
            Note: You can also automatically fix red eye by clicking
Auto in the Red Eye Removal tool options bar.
