I think I’ll start a post/page for poetry.
Did you know that econometricians, too, have the spirit of verse within them? Cf. Arthur Lewbel, my Sloan classmate of MIT days:
Our paper was under review,
Date is 6 months past due,
At last, report’s here,
And we started to cheer,
Until we read referee two.
I thought this might be improveable, but after trying, I’m not so sure I can do better. Anyone else have ideas? One of my favorite sayings is “Un poeme, comme un specification du regression, n’est jamai fini, seulement abandonee”. Probably my French can be improved too. I kind of guess as far as gender is concerned.
