  • There are two kinds of people: those who like to comment on Tweets that already have 500 comments, and those who like to comment on Tweets with 5 comments.

These correlate strongly to another dichotomy: people who comment to hear themselves talk, and people who comment to communicate to other people.

They also correlate strongly to IQ, knowledge, and open-mindedness.

And the split is related to how some people like to join a big crowd in saying something, to be part of a group, and other people would rather not say anything unless nobody else is saying it, so they have to say it or the point will be lost.
