USB-A and USB-B

Who, by name, is responsible for USB-A cables having no symmetry, so you get it wrong half the time? He is an enemy of humanity. There should be an international Computer Crimes Tribunal to judge and sentence him. Death would not be too severe a penalty-- seriously. He has cost mankind a lot of hours and energy.

Who is responsible for USB-C cables having two-way symmetry? He is smart, or, at least, of ordinary intelligence, and should be commended for it.
