A few centuries ago, 50 would be considered “old.” Now, in the US, 77.5 is the average life expectancy. In Africa, a woman would go to “fat camp” to gain weight and therefore be “attractive.” Highschool girls throughout England starve themselves in order to be “attractive.” Why all the quotation marks? Because there is no standard in this; no absolute truth. All is relative. Even the facts.<\/p>\n
“One man’s right is another man’s wrong.” Cannibalism is an instance of this, as is slavery, as is pre-marital sex. The list is endless. It leads to complete chaos. Over time, moral standards in a secular world fluctuate. Is it a surprise that man yearns for religion? – Man is constant in his constant change (another paradox). He is unreliable. There must be a something reliable, a moral constant that has not lost meaning through the ages! – This wondering leads man into a search for God.<\/p>\n
Think on this; expand the argument. Create one for Christianity. I’m too lazy at the moment to continue it. Ach; it feels like an intro. I should write more – but I’m sure you’ve had enough for now anyway.
