A small, ancient building made of white stone.<\/p>\n

There aren’t any tourists.<\/p>\n

It feels so. . . empty.<\/p>\n

Then I walk into a courtyard garden, and there he is.<\/p>\n

He is practically part of the scenery, an exotic flower, surrounded by his \u00a0mates.<\/p>\n

On a bench, he sits absorbing nature like a plant absorbs sunshine.<\/p>\n

I wonder if he photosynthesizes to keep his vibrant color.<\/p>\n

Maybe.<\/p>\n

Through an archway there is a chapel.<\/p>\n

Cool.<\/p>\n

Stepping inside, I discover much stained glass.<\/p>\n

I like to call this one, Matthias the Axe Murderer.<\/p>\n

Sitting on a stone bench is a skinny man.<\/p>\n

On closer inspection, I discover he is made of metal.<\/p>\n

It is St. Edmund.<\/p>\n

I didn’t take his photo.<\/p>\n
