I was looking through my old things and found it, a blue first in the 1600 m at a middle school meet. 2011, the ribbon read; I was a 6th grader in 2011. Flipping it over, I found my time scrawled on the back: 5:59.<\/p>\n<p>As a twelve year old, I broke six minutes. As a thirteen year old, I reached 5:46.<\/p>\n<p>I ran the mile this year with the best time of 5:59. Back to 6th grade. Ironic; my first year of highschool track I get the same mile time as the \u00a0first year of track in my life.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m on my toes for next year&#8217;s track season.
