Lucky cats wave you in and out of store after store as you buy more and more.<\/p>\n<p>Today I was hit with a sadness. That Lady &#8211; the one in the shop &#8211; the one with the frizzy, thinning hair and the pasty face. She had a weird and frightening, drooping face and messy eyeliner. I couldn&#8217;t. . . . bear to look at her. And that&#8217;s what makes me so sad. I don&#8217;t know what was wrong with her. I know there is something wrong with me. Beauty is nothing in the long run, but I can&#8217;t stand ugliness sometimes. I can&#8217;t. Ugliness makes me sad. And my reaction makes me sad.<\/p>\n<p>Lady in the Chinatown shop &#8211; please be okay. Please be living a comfortable life with people who love you. I just can&#8217;t stop thinking of you standing there, in the window, waiting for customers with a blank expression on your poor face. I can&#8217;t stop thinking of how I\u00a0turned my face, looking fixedly at the ground, how I walked past as fast as I could and dove into the next shop.
