Criminal Congressmen Website, June 13, 2000

This purpose of this website is to accumulate and disseminate data on political scandal in the United States. I have started it because I wanted to know how many Federal elected officials had been indicted, convicted, expelled, resigned, or otherwise got in significant trouble over the history of the United States but I could not find the information anywhere.

My hope is that people will email me with data once I have the site set up.

I should remember to let good sources know. The Almanac of American Politics people. John Gizzi from Human Events.

First, I need to get a reasonable list on my own. This site will be under initial construction for years, I expect, till I have time to do that. If anyone knows of a good starting list, please let me know.

I probably will want to categorize offenses as Money, Sex, Abuse of Power, and Violence. Outcomes will be Indictment, Conviction, Resignation, Scandal, Secrecy, and Vindication.
