Kaleidoscope

Posted on January 18, 2016January 23, 2016 by amelia admin

Picture me an instrument,
not microscope, nor telescope
(those which unveil understanding and multiply our worlds)
but a toymaker’s kaleidoscope,
that at a timid shake,
spilleth down cascades of jewels
to coat the waiting eye.
Medieval prints in twists and turns
then do inscribe with Celtic loops
the waiting world at will,
for to obscure the universe
that hides their own.
