Flashback to Flight 1/2/14

Posted on April 6, 2014April 6, 2014 by amelia admin

Excerpt from 1/2/14 notes:

It is eerie and awful to watch the ground drop away, buildings growing smaller and smaller until you see the city as a scattering of mere pinpricks of light. With a new dawn of realization, the thought comes to me: man has learned to fly. What power and ingenuity man is blessed with! But at the same time, we are so frail. When you see entire cities reduced to specks of light, you are overtaken by a sudden vulnerability. You feel you aren’t so important after all.
